What would you do during an alien invasion?

Ok lets say aliens came to earth and they were trying to wipe us out. These are the things you know/have ok you know that they can die and they have some weaponry and their are lots of them (aliens). You are with a small group of civillians and a few military policemen you have a 9mm pistol (30 or so bullets) a van that works and several gallons of gas in tanks. a radio a spanish translation book some rope and a metallica cd. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
