Is he ready for marriage?

A 31 y/o says of his girlfriend of 2 years. He has his mind all make up about marriage. Even though she is not the love of his life but she is the only person who is willing to accept his eccentricity. He is willing to marry her unless something big happens. Would you say this guy is mature? Particle? Is he ready to get married? Does he love her or just want someone to love him? Is his way of thinking too old for his age? Insecure about not finding the person he really loves? Looking for an easy way out of things? Selfish? What do you think?
