Virginia Military Institute and The Citadel.?

I am interested in applying for both VMI and The Citadel. For some reason unknown to me right now, VMI seems to interest me just a little bit more. I already researched both of their websites but wanted some information from people. Which would you recommend and why? Thanks to those who help.
