HELP?!?! WILL THEIR PARENTS HATE ME?!?! 10 POINTS!!?

Well I live in a neighborhood and flood waters damaged the majority of it. Now people are reconstructing and demolishing. Yesterday and hte day before that I spent the entire day with some kids in that section whose houses are destroyed. They are 15, 14, 9,9,9, and 8. We have a lot of fun and laugh together but we aren't helping their parents. We're just hanging out and I think their parents are a little annoyed by it but I'm not really sure seeing as they are in the house all the time. Well I was walking over there and hour ago and everybody was already working and these men carried up two signs. One said RESIDENTS ONLY NO LOOKERS!! the other said (and was probably made my the kids judging by the handwriting and various bracelets and glowsticks hanging off of it) Slow Down People At Work And Children At Play. I'm not sure if they meant they only wanted residents of that certain cul-de-sac to be there, or if they just didn't want people driving by in cars and taking pictures of the damage like many have done. I want to go hang out and do stuff with the kids because they are so much fun (I'm 13) and we have a great time but I'm not sure if the adults will be mad at me for going down there.
