What is there to do outside in Boston?

My boyfriend can only do activities outside or in uncrowded areas. We will be heading up next Friday for a meeting and were wondering if there are any activities we can partake in such as maybe a botanical garden, a zoo, or even an aquarium that doesn't get too many people? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!! :D
