I have no idea what breed my cat is. Help?

He's about four feet long from nose to tail tip (his tail is about a foot and four inches long), his feet are about two and a half inches across. He stands at probably a foot and a half tall. He has the markings and long thick hair of a himalayan, and his ears are normal shape, but structurally in his face and body he looks more like a linx besides the length of his tail. I would send a picture if I could. He's really a beautiful cat, he's got a great personality. I would just really like to know what he is!!
