You already know that you should contact your attorney, but for your daughter I think you should put her in counseling. Don't give up and eventually your daughter will see through her mother. Go to your daughters school at lunch or something and talk to her, maybe with the school counselor. Don't be angry with her she is wanting and needing some attention or she wouldn't have told her mother this or be going along with what her mother has made up! Good Luck
