I won't pretend like I am an expert but this sounds like... Okay you have a friend you haven't really talked to in a year. In this dream another girl was bitching at him and he didn't want to be around her obviously. Whether the girl really meant anything as to the meaning of the dream or not.... You have hardly spoken in a year. Him running away like that - could mean you might feel like he just disappeared and left you in the dust and this makes you sad. The girl chasing him might mean that you are afraid that he is out dating a bunch of other women and though he's not paying attention to you anymore - you wish he would love you as you may love him - even if you don't know it completely yourself. You feel sad that you two have not spoken much in such a long time and you want him back in your life....
